During our research activities, we always propose dissemination and outreach events. When these are held in Libreville, they are coordinated by the Mathematics Department of ENS Libreville. In particular, we pay attention to the development of the following activities:
- Outreach activities on the gender gap in science, for instance on the occasion of the International Women’s Day, jointly organized with the Association des femmes mathématiciennes du Gabon. Tony Ezome, one of our coordinators, is member of Committee for Women in Mathematics (CWM) from the International Mathematical Union (IMU) for the periods (2019-2022) and (2023-2026).
- Activities for popularizing mathematics on the occasion of the International Day of Mathematics in March (Pi Day).
- Lectures for high school student on the importance of mathematics and its role for the society.
- Presentation of our research areas for high school students, for example through a comprehensible and outstanding result.
- We also helped organize the first Mathematical Olympiads of ENS Libreville in March 2024.
